After a great last week of 2013, 2014 starts off slow as this week’s games are postponed due to snow. The forecast looks good for games to resume next week.

NSL Season 6: Week 1

The first week of season six is in the books and if this is any indication of what this season will be look – its looking great!
Lighting issues aside, week one was full of excitement and close games.

In the early games newcomers New Power Generation let everyone knew they meant business with a 2-0 win over Astrapi while Dragon Headers beat The Capri Sun in a tight 1-0 match.

The highlight of the late games included rematch of last year’s NSL final with Cleats & Cleavage taking on FC KRS.  C&C took what looked like a commanding 2-0 lead, but KRS battled back to score two very late goals and tie the game.    Rapid Williamsburg defeated Fooligans FC 1-0 in a tight match.

Reminder – no games this week because of an event at McCarren – back November 23.
