First off Congrats to Chico’s Bail Bonds for winning the regular season – adding another trophy to their already impressive hardware case. They did stumble to a 1-1 tie against Astrapi last weekend, showing that they are human…
The Playoffs are looming – they will start March 3rd with the quarterfinals. This weekend will decide who picks up the 8th and final slot with Tusty holding a one point advantage over the Fooligans.
Here’s the schedule (made up from the snow week on 1/21)

Two weeks left…
With just two weeks left (including the make-up days from the snow out) the playoff picture is not really any clearer.
Every game from here on out is a must win for almost all the teams…
This weeks results:
Dragon Headers beat BKFC 6-2
The Ducks beat the Fooligans 1-0
Metrocats defeat Tusty 4-0
Rapid Williamsburg beat Capri Sun 3-0.
And finally Top Performers is back after a few weeks of being away.
NSL Week 10 – Playoffs looming…
We’re into the first week in February so the playoff hunt is heating up?
The standings are tight as the top 8 teams move into the playoffs in search of the Jack Le Vent cup.
Can anyone catch Chicos at the top? Who will squeak into the playoffs? A lot of questions will be answered in the next few weeks.

NSL WEEK 7 POSTPONED
Due to this weeks snowstorm – our games are postponed today. We’ll pick up with the week 8 schedule next week and reschedule this week’s games at the end of the season.
NSL Week 7 Results
This week saw a rematch of NSL Cup ‘ll between Chico’s and Dragon Headers – with the same end result – as last year’s champ Chico’s shut out the Headers 4-0; Capri Sun finally secured their first point with a 2-2 draw with Metrocats; Rapid Williamsburg kept up their strong debut season with a solid 3-0 victory over BKFC; Astrapi held off a second half attack from Ducks to win 2-1
NSL Week 6 Results
The first week back in 2012 saw a lot of goals and some hard fought matches.
Fooligans picked up their first win since week 1 with a 3-1 win over Tusty FC; Metrocats came alive surprising Rapid Williamsburg with a 5-1 victory; Dragon Headers came back from behind and survive a last minute goal mouth flurry to tie Astrapi 2-2; Chico’s continued their great form with a 6-0 win over The Capri Sun.

NSL Week Results 4
Dragon Headers continue to impress with a 7-1 win over The Ducks; BKFC scored a goal at the death to win 4-3 in a back and forth contest with Astrapi; Tusty put away 4 goals against Capri Sun winning 4-; Chico’s gave Rapid Williamsburg its first loss with a tight 1-0 win
NSL Week 3 Results
Week 3 finished up with a couple close games and a couple dominant performances.
Metrocats beat Astrapi 2-1 in a game that saw each team with a PK – and Metrocats keeper JP saving one.
Tusty kept Chicos close for the first half, but gave up 3 second half Chicos goals to lose 4-0
Dragon Headers continue to have no problem scoring goals as Fernando scores 2 more to beat The Capri Sun – and somehow do it while not being distracted by The Capri Sun’s amazing new “jerseys”
Rapid Williamsburg continues their first place form with a hard fought victory over the Fooligans. Rapid gave up a 2 goal lead (though not without some controversy) but were able to win the game with a late goal
NSL Week 2 Results
NSL wrapped up an exciting week 2 heading into the Thanksgiving Break. The Dragon Headers kicked off their season with a very convincing 6-2 win over The Fooligans in a heated match; Astrapi moved into a tie for first with Rapid Williamsburg as both teams drew 1-1; Tusty FC got a last minute winner to hand BKFC a surprising second consecutive defeat 2-1; The Ducks picked up their first win of the season with a 3-2 victory over Metrocats.
The league is off this week for the Thanksgiving break, but returns on Saturday 12/3.

Currently there are 10 teams in the Northside Soccer League.
